David Moyes lands new job just days after West Ham announced manager set to leave at end of season
Moyes joked about being part of the Scottish contingent after being confirmed by the broadcaster
DAVID MOYES has been confirmed as part of talkSPORT's team for this summer's Euros, just days after his West Ham exit was revealed.
The Scot, 61, will depart the Hammers at the end of the season after a hugely successful four-and-a-half-years at the London Stadium.

But he is set to waste little time in returning to work as he prepares to appear on the radio.
Moyes will add to the Scottish contingent on talkSPORT alongside the likes of Ally McCoist and Graeme Souness.
And he is excited to get started on the platform following the conclusion of the domestic campaign.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "With the distinct lack of Scottish football voices on talkSPORT for the Euros tournament - just the five so far with Ally, Alan, Shebahn, Jim and Graeme in the mix - I’m delighted to be another Scot flying the flag for my home team on the best sports network.

Moyes' broadcasting experience includes commentating for BBC Radio 5 Live during the 2010 World Cup.
He has also previously appeared on talkSPORT, as well as Sky Sports, BBC, STV and Premier Sports.
Scotland will kick-off the Euros when they take on hosts Germany on June 14.

Steve Clarke's side will also face Switzerland and Hungary in Group A.

West Ham confirmed on Monday that Moyes will leave at the end of the season.
He is expected to be replaced by former Real Madrid, Sevilla and Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui - who has agreed terms with the club.
A statement from joint-chairman David Sullivan said: "On behalf of everyone at West Ham United, I would like to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to David for the contribution he has made to the Football Club during his time as manager.
"David has been responsible for a period of great progress and success in our history, and we are extremely grateful for all of his hard work, commitment and dedication to the role.
"David has been an absolute professional to work with and he will leave with our greatest respect and good wishes – he deserves to be held in the highest esteem for the service he has given to West Ham United, and we wish him every success in the future.
"By making this announcement now, it allows David to get the send-off he deserves from the West Ham supporters and for us all to show our appreciation to him at our final home fixture of the season against Luton Town on Saturday."
Former Manchester United and Everton boss Moyes initially joined the Hammers in November 2017 but was let go at the end of the season.
He then returned in 2019 following Manuel Pellegrini’s exit.
And Moyes’ arrival sparked an on-pitch revival, culminating in last season’s historic Europa Conference League win.
He also guided them to back-to-back fifth-place finishes in the Premier League.

However, those results have not been matched this term, with West Ham winning just 13 of their 36 league games.
They were also knocked out of the Europa League by Bayer Leverkusen last month.
