A fan wrote to her: "So fabulous to see Fern back on the show....... Holiday stand in.....??? Hope so!!"

Fern guest presented This Morning from 1993, but was a full-time host on the show for ten years, between 1999 and 2009.

Fern announced she would be leaving This Morning after ten years in March 2009.

Her final episode as host aired on her 52nd birthday, July 17, 2009.

This Morning was recently taken over by Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley who interviewed Fern days after she left CBB.

"15 years since I was last on this programme," Fern told them before adding: "And, well done you two."

She looked back on her time in the famous House, but insisted she won't catch up on the series.

Fern added: "I'm not going to [watch it back] not for a long time, if that. I don't want to embarrass myself or delve deep into anything... I just don't want to."

She made it to the final five and finished fifth in the final of ITV's CBB reboot.

The series was won by Ibiza Weekender star David Potts - with Nikita Kuzmin, Colson Smith and Louis Walsh following behind.
