Bluewater gets Fabulous

Britain's biggest weekly glossy brings fashion and fun to the south-east

Shoppers in Bluewater were given a Fabulous treat yesterday when our roadshow hit Kent.

Bringing to life Britain’s biggest weekly glossy, Bluewater was rocked with catwalk shows, live beauty makeovers and free manicures from Nails Inc.

Live music from ex-Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon and hot new girl band Dolly Rockers drew massive crowds, and hundreds of lucky girls picked up goodie bags packed with beauty and style treats.

Fashionistas weren’t disappointed either, as our amazing catwalk show saw Select models working the hottest trends from River Island, Next, New Look and Dorothy Perkins. Shoppers also saw Collection 2000 make-up gurus give live makeovers whilst L’Oreal stylists showed the crowd how to makeover their hair.

Select Model Management scouted the venue for a hot new catwalk talent and brought their favourite girls from our previous events to Bluewater for a nail biting new-face finale.

Mum-of-one Sarah-Louise Wiffen, 21, was crowned the winner. "I'm ecstatic!" She said. " I can't believe my luck."

Sarah from Bromley is now set to wow the fashion world after being signed up to Select, one of the countries biggest model agencies. Her career will be kick-started when she stars in a Fabulous fashion story later this year.

The style and showbiz extravaganza was hosted by TV presenter Jenni Falconer, while gorgeous host Marvyn Williams worked the crowd dishing out prizes.
