A HUGE WALK-IN DRESSING ROOM WITH COLOUR-CODED OUTFITS AND METICULOUSLY BOXED SHOES – GMTV STYLE GURU MARK HEYES ADMITS FASHION IS HIS GUILTY PLEASURE

Stylist Mark Heyes has a wardrobe that most fashionistas would kill to rummage through.

So it's no surprise he's dedicated a whole room in his Victorian flat in Camberwell, south London, to house his seven-door Ikea closet packed full of Dior and Louis Vuitton.

"I love my clothes and take good care of them," says the GMTV star, who's fashion advisor to Lorraine Kelly and has styled stars including Geri Halliwell and Penny Lancaster-Stewart.

"I don't drink or go out, so fashion is my one guilty pleasure. My shoes are always put to bed in their boxes and my shirts are perfectly pressed before they get put away.

"I've got five Dior Homme suits and over 40 pairs of shoes. I've a bit of a fetish for Lanvins from Paris, which I keep in blue boxes. They're Louboutins for boys and cost about £500 a pop."

But Mark's favourite item is a grey sweatshirt – a gift from Sex And The City stylist Patricia Field, whom he met at New York Fashion Week in September.

"I adore SATC and Patricia's such an inspiration to me," he explains. "She gave me the jumper as a souvenir and it now holds equal pride of place in my closet with my first Dior suit."

One thing the 31 year old, who lives with his partner of nine years, can't stand is clutter. "I think I've got a bit of OCD because I'm so meticulous about storage. I like things to be tidy," he says.

He's just as particular about planning his outfit. "I'll always pull together my clothes the night before I'm on GMTV – even my pants and socks are laid out because at 5am I'm too bleary-eyed to think."

MARK'S STYLE TIPS

•When furniture shopping, don’t act on impulse – look arround for bargains.
•Add your personality to rooms – it’s OK to be a bit different. I’ve got a pink cupboard in the kitchen in which I keep my china .
•Keep your wardrobe organised. I put shirts and suits away in colour order, so I know exactly what goes with what.
