These arty fabrics are a summer holiday must-have and are perfect for taking you from sandy beaches to the all-important cocktail bar.

But with fabrics as loud as these, just make sure you go easy on everything else.

 

How to wear them
* Natalie shows us how to work the splatter-paint style. Patterns are also great for disguising lumps and bumps, so if you’re feeling less than svelte, go floor-length like mum-to-be Angelina.

 

How not to wear them
* It’s a shame Emily is hiding this masterpiece under a dark blazer – be bold and put your art on display! Bright colours don’t need big accessories, nor do they need an orange tan like Danielle’s.
