The bargain store joked it's "Taking us back to 2006" with its limited collection inspired by the hit Disney movie.

Speaking about their High School Musical collection, Primark bosses added: "You’re bound to go Wild (Cats) for this."

A short clip shared by the East Kilbride store in Lanarkshire showed a white Troy Bolton baby tee, grey Sharpay top and baseball caps with the letters H, S and M making up part of the range.

The 17-second video has already racked up more than 68,000 views.

And fashion fans are desperate to get their hands on one of the new arrivals.

"I need the Troy top and the Sharpay top ASAP", gushed one.

A second wrote: "Begging they have these in my local Primark soon.

"Brings me back to my childhood wardrobe consisting of only hsm and camp rock."

A third admitted: "Lowkey want the Troy shirt."

A fourth insisted: "It’s not a want it’s a need."

A fifth fumed: "I was in Primark, why didn't I see this? OMG."

Meanwhile, a sixth pleaded: "Can we pls go get them?"

And if you are heading to Primark any time soon, you'll be happy to hear that the bargain store is making a big change to the price of hundreds of items nationwide.

It's the second year in a row the budget chain has cut prices on its kids essentials.

Primark bosses say the move aims to help families "make their money go further" as they start planning their summer wardrobes.

And everyday essentials including t-shirts and shorts, sliders and baseball caps are included - as well as swim shorts.

For example, a combination of a basic T-shirt and swim shorts, sliders and a baseball cap can be picked up for £10.50 compared to £12.50 last year.
