Crave-control pills 
“I can’t live without my Bs,” says the 33-year-old size 10 star. She takes B vitamins to control sweet cravings and improve her mood.

Reality rating 10/10 
“B vitamins help regulate metabolism,” says medical nutritionist Naomi Beinhart. “They also help stabilise blood sugar, making cravings for sweets far less likely.”

Whey smoothies
The Spice Girl, 34, keeps her size-12 figure trim, her blood sugar balanced and cravings at bay with a breakfast blend of whey protein and water.

Reality rating 7/10
“Whey protein is filling, energising and can even help fight ageing,” says Naomi. “And pure protein eaten in the morning suppresses the appetite for the entire day.”

Fat-flushing juice
After a fatty meal, the 43-year-old size-8 style guru drinks grapefruit or pineapple juice because the fruit acid stops the absorption of fat.

Er, could it get any easier? Trinny’s trainer, Brendan McCarthy, suggests opting for organic and sugar-free juices for maximum nutrient punch.

Detox day
For one day a week, size-10 Pink, 28, will only eat green foods to calm her digestion, absorb more nutrients and reduce cravings.

Pink’s trainer, Gregory Joujon-Roche, says: “Start the day with an apple, celery and cucumber smoothie and green grapes, have salad for lunch and steamed veg for dinner.”

Sauna squeeze
When size-6 Katie, 29, was preparing for a photo shoot, her trainer, GMTV’s Mark Anthony, advised her to reduce her daily two-litre water intake by 250ml each day for a week, and have saunas to reduce excess water.

Reality rating 2/10
Mark says it should only be done once a year – any more and you could wreak havoc on your kidneys.

Cut the caffeine
The size-8 WAG, 25, was told by her trainer, Paul Ellis, that coffee dehydrated her, making her moody and tricking her into thinking she was hungry.

Paul says: “Reduce food cravings by replacing coffee and tea with green tea.
