I look at myself in the mirror and think: ‘You’re getting older’. I can’t believe I’ll be 60 in November. But it’s only a number and if you think you’re old, you’ll feel old. I don’t feel my life is over.
I’ve always been obsessed with my skin and at the first sign of ageing, I started using every product I could. My skin is fair and prone to wrinkles, but quite sensitive. That’s why Time Bomb Take Off Time Cleansing Cream, £24, from my beauty range is so good
– it has micro crystals to gently remove dead cells.
I want to be able to sing until I drop, but I have to tell myself to slow down because at my age it takes my body longer to recover.
I stopped having Botox because too much doesn’t look good. It didn’t make me look any younger and I have to move my face – I’m a singer. I haven’t ruled out surgery in the future though.
If I want to change my image, I have hair extensions. One week I fancy having long hair, the next I want short.
I go to the gym three times a week. As I’ve got older, everything has got softer. My legs, thighs, belly and bum all need toning up.
I never leave the house without eye make-up and my MAC lipgloss, even if I’m walking the dogs. I love to look glamorous. It makes me feel good.
