BODY & SOUL... BODY & SOUL... BODY & SOUL... BODY &SOUL...

'I'm confident about my body, but it’s not natural to strip off – unless you're an exhibitionist or a nudist!'

'Getting naked was scary'

ACTRESS JAIME MURRAY, 30, ON STRIPPING OFF AND WORKING OUT

I’m very conscious about wrinkles so I’d never sunbathe. I use a parasol and hat to shield my face, and instead of sunscreen – which I find too greasy – I apply Jane Iredale Powder-Me SPF. It’s a face and body powder that protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays.

I’d think twice about having surgery. I live in LA where lots of women have had too much cosmetic work done and it looks horrendous! I prefer to be natural so I use products like Environ Cleansing Cream. It’s vitamin-based and ideal for my sensitive skin.

I find it hard to summon up the enthusiasm to go to the gym. People in California are very disciplined about exercise, but I’m quite lazy. I’ve always been slim – working out doesn’t make a big difference to my shape.

Filming my first nude scenes in Dexter made me feel vulnerable and exposed. I’m confident about my body, but it’s not natural to strip off – unless you’re an exhibitionist or a nudist! Parading naked in front of an all-male crew was intimidating, too.

I’ve never been a short skirt girl. There’s something overtly sexual about wearing a piece of material that just skims your thighs. I prefer to cover up in a wrap dress. To me, that’s far sexier.
