Looking svelte and gorgeous, it’s no wonder Coronation Street star Kym Ryder – who split from her husband three months ago – has already caught the eye of Hollyoaks’ Jamie Lomas.
But it’s not snogging like a teenager that’s given Kym her enviable size-8 figure – it’s all thanks to incorporating a gym ball into her exercise regime.
To stay trim, Kym now runs for 40 minutes twice a week, does regular weight training, and hones her stomach on her Swiss ball.
“I do ab exercises every day,” says the mum of two, who used to be self-conscious about her post-baby belly.
“It’s hard work.”
Her personal trainer Paul Younane says: “Because it’s harder to keep your balance on a gym ball, you use all your stomach muscles.
"The gym ball is the fastest way get a toned and flat stomach like Kym’s.”
The celebrity body trainer and physiotherapist says that the benefits of the ball are so simple.
"The swiss ball targets the deep abs that flatten your stomach and by doing crunches on the ball it also shapes and defines your abs."
And to prove this he has given us his top 10 exercises to have you feeling proud about your body.
