Looking young for her age isn’t all it’s cracked up to be for investment banker Aisling Phelan, 27, from London.

“People often think I’m younger than I am, so I worry that I won’t be taken seriously,” she explains.

“I wear skirts and heels for the office but I feel like a kid dressing up.

"I’d like to look more sophisticated without losing my individual style.

"I also get asked for ID when buying alcohol and men think I’m stacks younger than I am – I don’t want to be seen as the little sister any more!”

TV stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones wants to help her look her age.

“There are three looks I think will suit Aisling,” she says.

“Sophisticated for the office, sexy for the evening, and chic for the weekend – and she won’t lose her signature bohemian style with any of them.”

Aisling’s verdict: “The grey dress gives me curves and is ideal for work. And I love how a high waist makes me look long and lean. I don’t feel like a kid now!”
