Angharad Walter is a real-life Cinderella.

As nanny to the two daughters of a high-flying couple, she’s more likely to be babysitting than partying.

Even at the weekends, Angharad’s hard work isn’t over.

“Every Saturday I teach drama to children in Cambridge,” says Angharad, 27, from Wapping, London.

“Then on Sundays I work as a children’s party entertainer, often dressed as Cinderella.

“I have more in common with Cinders than just the outfit,” she adds.

“By Saturday evening I’m so exhausted, my social-life is practically non-existent.”

So Angharad was delighted when her 18-year-old cousin Fiona, a student at Cambridge University, invited her to their summer ball.

Angharad says: “I’m so excited. The problem is that I only possess two types of outfits – comfy and casual or fancy dress!”

Nicky Hambleton-Jones, TV stylist (and part-time Fairy Godmother), has the answer.

Nicky says: “Formal occasions aren’t about taffeta or chiffon any more.

"So I’ve put Angharad in this ’50s-inspired dress and bolero jacket.

"It’s a timeless classic and very flattering for a pear-shaped figure like Angharad’s.”

Angharad’s Verdict: “This outfit is very glamorous. It’s comfortable too, so I’ll really be able to relax and enjoy myself.”
