WATCH NICKY'S CHALLENGE ON OUR EXCLUSIVE FABULOUS VIDEO: HELP THIS STUDENT FLAUNT HER FIT FIGURE
Victoria Hannah is in the middle of a style crisis.
Not only has she dropped a dress size thanks to her new boxing regime, but she needs to ditch her student wardrobe in favour of a smart new career girl look.
Phew! Thankfully, our style guru Nicky Hambleton-Jones is here to help.
Victoria reveals that she started boxing last May to get fit and instantly began to lose weight. “In six weeks I developed muscly arms and shoulders – even a six-pack!” she says.
Often the only girl at her gym in Glasgow, boxing with the boys has toned every inch of Victoria’s body. She’s lost a stone and gone from a size 12 to a 10, but now nothing in her wardrobe fits.
So it’s the perfect opportunity for her to update her dress-down style.
“I’m the eternal student,” she reveals. “In the 11 years I’ve been at uni I’ve gained a degree in biology and a PhD in molecular biology. Now I’m studying to be a dentist.”
So, having reached the age of 29 without ever having had a nine to five job, it’s hardly surprising that Victoria has a wardrobe full of slouchy jeans and hooded tops.

"Next year is my final year, then I’ll be a professional dentist so I have to look the part,” she says. “I’m more confident about my figure now but I don’t know what suits me."
10 Years Younger presenter Nicky is relieved to hear the slim student is ready to ditch her scruffy look.
“Her svelte new figure is just crying out to be flaunted,” she says.
Nicky transforms Victoria’s look with a bold fuchsia blouse and a figure-hugging pencil skirt teamed with a waist-enhancing belt and high heels.
“The streamlined skirt skims her slim hips and the ruffles on the blouse add volume to her chest, creating the illusion of a fuller bust,” explains Nicky.
Victoria is blown away by her chic new look.
“The whole outfit makes me feel so professional.
"I can’t wait to graduate now!”

NICKY ON MAKE UP “Make-up artist Armand Beasley added lashings of mascara to Victoria’s big eyes to create a ’60s Brigitte Bardot feel. For extra drama he added individual false lashes. As Victoria’s fringe hides most of her eyelids there’s no point using strong colour on them, which means she can carry off a bolder lip shade like this luscious deep pink gloss.”
NICKY ON HAIR “Victoria’s old hairstyle was hiding her beautiful bone structure. Our stylist, Mark Hill, created a sexy eyelash-skimming fringe, and softened the hair around her face to highlight Victoria’s killer cheekbones. To give her fine hair some body, he curled it with tongs and finished off with a spritz of Mark Hill De-Frizz Shine & Control Spray.”
NICKY ON CLOTHES “Victoria’s classic hourglass figure – wide shoulders and a tiny waist – is just perfect for this season’s ‘sexy secretary’ look. The blouse and pencil skirt give Victoria the chic, career girl style she was after but with a modern, youthful feel. The soft fluid fabric and vibrant colour of the blouse adds a feminine twist to the slinky pencil skirt, while the wide belt makes a real feature of her enviable waspish waist."
NICKY ON COLOUR “When you’re trying to look professional, too many clashing colours can look messy. But playing it safe by always wearing black from head to toe can be boring and is really draining on paler complexions like Victoria’s. Try limiting black to the bottom half of the body and lift the whole look with a block of bold colour like this fuchsia blouse.”
