WE REVEAL THE DESPERATE MEASURES COLEEN IS TAKING TO ENSURE SHE’S A BEAUTIFUL BRIDE – AND THE SCANDALS THREATENING HER BIG DAY

It’s the year’s most anticipated celebrity wedding, as Coleen McLoughlin prepares to tie the knot with Wayne Rooney five years after he proposed on a garage forecourt (oh, the romance!).

Having weathered several storms – namely his affairs with prostitutes and THAT Man United party – the pair, both 22, are finally ready to settle down.

And, in true WAG style, their June 12 wedding will be an overstated, scandal-soaked and – at £3million – expensive affair.

The details of the big day are so secret, we don’t even think Wayne’s been told.

So, for his benefit and yours, here’s all you need to know about the WAG wedding of the year.

The Celebrity Venue

The 16th-century Villa Durazzo on the Italian Riviera is where Rod Stewart wed Penny Lancaster.

Guests will be treated to anal fresco champagne reception and barbecue.

 

The Strict Diet

Coleen’s given up WeightWatchers and is sticking to her own diet.

Her trainer Elise Lindsay tells us: “She has a lot of fresh veg and fruit, but isn’t a big fan of breakfast.

"I’ve told her to eat porridge as it keeps you feeling full.”

But our insiders say the WAG’s taken her healthy eating a bit too far.

“She’s moaning about her stumpy legs and is eating much smaller portions,” one explains.

“She’s avoiding her favourite crisps like Wotsits, and cutting out chips.”

 

The Intense Workouts

Coleen has stepped up her workouts with personal trainer Elise since January and is doing 90 minutes of jogging and Pilates five times a week, rather than her usual hour-long sessions three times a week.

“We’ve been concentrating a lot on her shoulders and arms as they will be on show,” says Elise.

“We want to give them a lovely shape so that when she’s dancing and moving around, her body will look toned.

“Coleen’s really looking forward to her wedding and worked so hard planning it.

"But afterwards she knows she has to rest - I have banned her from seeing me until she’s had some quality wife time!”

 

Bridal Grooming

To seal her status as Queen WAG, Coleen is determined to outshine every other football bride.

A source close to the family tells us she is obsessed with having everything looking “absolutely perfect”.

The source explains: “She knows people will be expecting the wedding to be chavvy, so she’s doing everything possible to look as classy as she can.

"She’s toned down the fake tan because she doesn’t want to be orange on the day.”

For a flawless complexion, Coleen has been having treatments at the Beautyfields salon in Liverpool, favouring the £50 Guinot Hydradermie Facial, which uses plant extracts to detox the skin.

 

The Designer Dress

Coleen has enlisted New York fashion house Marchesa, which dresses celebrities like Cameron Diaz.

Designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have created a strapless £100,000 ivory dress covered in pearls and crystals with a 25ft train.

Coleen is rumoured to have asked female guests to wear black so she will stand out.

 

The A-list Guests

Having signed a £3million magazine deal, Coleen is under pressure to provide some A-list guests.

She and Wayne have reportedly decided against inviting the Beckhams as, says an insider, “there is no love lost between the couples”.

Coleen has banned Wayne’s extended family including his cousins Stephen, 23 – a cross-dresser who told a newspaper he would make a perfect bridesmaid – and Natalie, 18, who flashed her boobs at Coleen’s 21st birthday.

The select 50 guests at the £60,000-a-head do will no doubt include Liverpool player Steven Gerrard and wife Alex Curran, boxer Ricky Hatton, and Wayne’s Manchester United team mates.
