'I like to show off my meaty bits'

How do you describe your style? Experimental. I try not to conform and instead wear things that reflect my mood. If I’m chilling out I’ll wear jeans, but if I’m feeling a little more playful I’ll put on some sexy heels.
What makes a woman stylish? Being confident in your own skin. There’s nothing more stylish than a woman who doesn’t try too hard.
What are your favourite shops and why? I love to shop, whether it’s on the high street, in a market or designer store. I especially adore Topshop as it has some really imaginative lines and reflects what women want to wear. I haven’t been there for a while though, so I’m definitely overdue a raid.
Who is your favourite designer? I love Christopher Bailey, who’s recently joined the Burberry team. I also love Matthew Williamson and Dries Van Noten, as they design for strong, modern women and use great colours.
Which celebrity’s wardrobe would you like to raid and why? I have always thought Helena Christensen has a fabulous vintage collection and she always wears amazing shoes.
What clothes flatter your figure? I’m 5ft 8in and a size 8-10, so to accentuate my curves I tend to go for outfits that show the meaty parts of my body such as my bosom or thighs. But not at the same time, as I can be quite prudish!
What types of clothes don’t suit you and why? My main rule is never to wear anything cropped around my ankles or wrists because it makes me look too skinny.
What is the one item in your wardrobe that you would never throw away? I have a ridiculously overpriced flouncy Voyage dress that I wore in a pop video when I was 15 that I’ll never throw away. I’m keeping it for my four-year-old daughter Freya.
What’s the biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made? Yellow cowboy boots. I bought them 10 years ago when the Spice Girls and Meg Mathews also wore them. We all thought we were so cool. We were so not!
Who is your style icon? Audrey Hepburn. She will always be one of the most timeless and effortlessly chic women.
